The sooner we collectively understand that America is NOT the greatest country in the world, the sooner we can begin to honestly approach fixing the glaring problems.
You may hate to see it, but America is ranked:
- 14th in education
- 17th in reading
- 33rd in infant mortality
- 11th in health care performance
- 25th quality of life
- 30th in gender equality
- 16th in overall happiness
- America has the 12th highest obesity in the world
- And it maintains the WORST poverty gap amongst the top 25 industrialized nations.
We still own a few #1’s:
- America is #1 in gun deaths
- #1 in school shootings
- #1 in incarcerated individuals per capita
- #1 in defense spending (by far)
- #1 in national debt
America is fat, dumb, unhealthy, broke, and unhappy, and we hide behind spending more than anyone else in order to attack ourselves and others.
