Agalloch 💿 Ashes Against the Grain - 2006 🎵 Agalloch is a band that has a beautiful musicality, with a style of their own. I find their music deep and even fascinating. This album "Ashes Against the Grain", is Black Metal, as I had never heard before. Black Metal mixed with magnificent melodies, a unique atmosphere, a particular style, I find their sound beautifully worked and delicate. The mix also of Black Metal with acoustic music is magnificent. Their sound is unique and makes us travel, in nature, in the mountains, it provides a lot of emotions. Melancholy and nature are well represented. What I also like is this mix of extreme vocals and clear vocals, that's so well done. Good metal sound as we like, with melodies that I find breathtaking, pure and beautiful musical composition... It's a band to listen to by taking the time to listen to each note, and then they take us into their universe.
