Fill your radiator with sufficient coolant Before you set off on your journey, make sure to fill up the radiator with plenty of coolant. 3. Check your drive belt If the drive belt breaks then it’ll affect the water pump, stopping coolant from being circulated. 4. Clear out the radiator Debris can block the airflow to your cooling system and damage the engine. 5. Check on the radiator cap If it isn't fastened properly it could effect system pressure. Take precautions and pay extra attention to the elderly and children with this drought.
