Boat seat rebuild is very time consuming- so many little details to replicate. The plastic bases were all that was salvageable. New foam and new design. I love the textured vinyl - it costs a little more- but so worth it. It adds a whole new dimension to an otherwise plain seat without adding stitch lines- the weak point in all boat seats. Hoping to finish the captains chair today. Then after work off to the hardware store to search for a way to re-engineer a vital broken part needed for some companion pieces.
