#OnThisDay, 50 years ago in 1972, the single engine #SA360 Dauphin made its maiden flight! It quickly broke three world speed records in the year that followed. As the successor to the Alouette III, the SA360 became an iconic helicopter that evolved into the SA361, #AS365 and later the #H155.
