Best gifts are that person that sticks by you no matter what, even at times when you don't deserve it; your parent's hug after months of not seeing them; your grandma's signature dish and her face lighting up when she sees you enjoying it; having an improvised picnic by the Thames sitting on fake grass; cooking cocido madrileño for your friends so we can all feel at home; making your friends watch THAT film that you've only seeing 15 times because they have to; belaying your scared-of-hights friend into the safe solid ground; holding someone you love while seeing the Northern Lights for the first time, bawl your eyes out and realise you managed to get the pictures okayish; knowing you have people that love you, support you and won't lie to you, so everything's gonna be alright.
