Waiting for train at Blackfriars on way to dentist………When anyone asks me ‘what should I do when I visit London?’ I say get a platform ticket at Blackfriars Station but don’t get on a train. From the glazed platforms above the River Thames you get a view of London, East and West, like no other - here you can orientate yourself.
